2010-2011 Lecture Programme
These lectures are normally free of charge and membership of the society is not required. Free parking is available at the MMU - entrance via Chester Street. From October 2007 the lectures will normally be held in the John Dalton Building, Manchester Metropolitan University, Oxford Road, (floor plan here) on the third Thursday of the month starting at 7.30pm prompt. NOTE: Room E0.05 is normally used for the 2010/2011 season lectures unless otherwise specified

Please note that the Godlee Observatory is open every Thursday evening for Member's Meetings. Most meetings include a short talk by one of the members about some astronomical topic or a "slide show" of images by our members or, weather permitting, observing with the Godlee telescopes. You are welcome to attend a few times as a "taster" before being required to join the Society. If you require more information about the Society than can be gleaned from these web pages, please come along to the Godlee one Thursday evening, when you will be made most welcome and can ask any questions about the Society that are not answered on the web site.
