Welcome to the Manchester Astronomical Society Website

NEWS Only a few weeks back in the observatory and we have already had the BBC in filming for part of a Blue Peter special as part of the BBC Stargazing Live week in January.
See Stargazing Challenges for photos of the event and a link to BBC iPlayer.

First light after the move back in was on 5th Jan to observe the Moon and on the 12th digital imaging was done of Jupiter and some visual observations of M42 in Orion.
