Sunday 26th

Not as well attended by the public as last years event, probably due to the weather, it was sunny and warm, (probably gone to the beach instead !). The images below were taken on the Sunday, and shows the NWGAS member societies taking part.

All the stands had examples of observations and photographs taken by members of their societies. Also on display were telescopes and camera mounts.

Macclesfield Astronomical Society. Macclesfield Astronomical Society.

Macclesfield, showed the night sky on a computer, together with slides projected onto a small screen. While outside they had a reflecting telescope setup for the public to view through.

Manchester Astronomical Society. Manchester Astronomical Society.

Manchester, had a number of images, (many taken by members of the MAS) on display on a computer, also displayed was the MAS and the NWGAS web pages.

Liverpool Astronomical Society. Liverpool Astronomical Society.

Liverpool had many of their excellent publications and guides on sale.
