Godlee Observatory Refurbishment
Extensive refurbishment has been made to the observatory as well as many other parts of the Sackville Building. These repairs started in November 2010 when we moved out of the observatory, the contents being placed in a store room. We met in room H8 while the refurbishment took place, but we are now back in the observatory making great use of the telescopes.

This set of photographs show the observatory from Whitworth Street, the first before refurbishment, the second during and the last afterwards, a great improvement especially the new balustrades.
